Women’s Business Council News

Cilla Snowball will be the new Chair of the Women’s Business Council (WBC). She replaces outgoing Chair Baroness McGregor-Smith. Cilla is a long-standing and active member of the WBC, and will look to build on the success and strong foundations laid by Baroness McGregor-Smith.

The WBC is also set to expand, with 7 new members from a range of industries, and from across the UK, joining. The new members reflect the excellent work undertaken by the Men as Agents of Change working group. We hope that this increase in male members will encourage more senior men to act as visible agents for change. The refreshed WBC also extends its reach to industries with a traditional underrepresentation of women, especially within the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) sector.
